Veith Behrmann Portfolio

I redesigned and built the portfolio website for my father, Veith Behrmann, who is passionate about photography as a hobby. He specializes in headshot photography and enjoys capturing professional portraits of people.

What makes his work special is that he does all his photography completely free of charge - it's purely his passion for the art. He took my professional headshot that you can see on my CV and throughout this website.

The website showcases his portfolio and provides a platform for people interested in getting their professional headshots taken. Built using my Geruest framework, it demonstrates the framework's capabilities in creating clean, modern portfolio sites.

Since his portfolio contains many high-quality photography images which initially resulted in slow load times, I implemented WebP image conversion optimization. This optimization reduced the page load time by 6-7 times, dramatically improving the user experience while maintaining image quality.
